Favorite Creature type!

With so many sets out and so many different different creatures through out the different sets what is everyones favorite? With the advent of Scourge, dragons now become a plausible Goblin Wars creature type.

However, in my humble opinion I believe that the slivers are boss. Whats eveyrone else's favorite and why?

Knights are pretty cool, but I really love Angels. Too bad they're too expensive for white.

Dwarves, just because they're a carry-over from any othe fantasy setting (D&D, Warhammer, etc).

Just look at the errata for Mistform Ultimas over at the Legions spoiler, and it lists all the creature types there. I "copied'n'paste." Please don't think I typed all those in. And I'm pretty sure it missed Giant Bird, amiright, because that first shows up in Scourge, I think. Or is Ageless Sentinels, Wall, Giant, "and" Bird?

What else is new in Scourge?

Also, I'm offended they never made a Platypus. How sad. :)

Will-'o-the-Wisp is my favorite. I miss it.

Of course, I would pick ferrets, but there has only been one card that was an actual Creature-Ferrets...so I guess, if I had to pick a creature that I could make a theme deck around, it would have to be Fungus aka Thallid. You could have lots of fun w/ a deck filled w/ fungi, saproling generators, Creeping Molds, and other fun stuff that grows...

It's too bad they didn't continue the Fungus theme with Thallids, but there's lots more Saproling generators from later sets... like Verdant Force - I guess he's the Thallid's pumped up cousin :)

...was about 6 years or so ago, when I beat the "Thallid Special" with 20 swings of a single Tradewind Rider. He had no answer for flyers. None whatsoever. Incredible.

So whatever Tradewind Rider is, that's my favorite critter.
Anything but broken Atogs or Mongers. Please.

I think we should do our best to promote this game to unsuspecting youth... tell them how much better Magic is than Yu-Gi-Oh. :)

Tradewind Rider + 2 other creatures + Gilded Drake + Heavy creature deck = "Funny, you said that I was going to be stomped by your creatures :D not the other way around."

Tradewind Rider is a spirit. So is Spritmonger (I think. it might be a beast).
