Just a thought, why not play with a green base;


ie 4 Rampant Growths, 4 Explosive Vegetation etc that way you can reliably play 4 Living Wish, and have your "kickass" slivers in the SB, im talking
the Essence [spirit link],
Brood[ sliver 'king'],
Toxin [destroys blockers/attackers]
and possibly Synapse [Thieving Magpie sliver]

That way you can run a reliable base of slivers out early in the game, the ones to consider from type 2 that you seem to have overlooked are

Spectral : All slivers gain "2:This creature gets +1/+1"
Crypt : All slivers have "T: Regen target sliver"

The crypt is especially good with the Toxin because then your opponent needs to reset the game...


You mention this deck is for type2, would this be because your entering a tournament? Im not sure Sliver beatdown is particularly viable, maybe Sliver-Opposition or the rogue Voidmage deck (Shifting sliver/Brood sliver+ Voidmage prodigy to counter everything they do) but lmk how it goes :)

Here's my opinion about what's the best Slivers:

Brood (Expensive, but free Slivers)
Clot/Crypt (Regen always useful, choice of paying 2 or T)
Crystalline (Untargetable:D)
Muscle (Do I need to explain?)
Root (Only because I hate counterspells :mad: )
Shifting (Come on, They become Unblockable!)
Spectral (I love pumpables)
Synapse(With Shifting, makes for a lot of card-drawing)

I'm thinking either going G/U or B/U for my Sliver deck. Shifting/Synapse helped decide to go with blue, as did EricBess' idea with the Inagecrafter/Mangler combo.

Remember the Crypt Sliver doesnt work with Crystalline because you cant target the sliver....this will also stop your Imagecrafter/Riptide Mangler combo as it cant target itself (when its a sliver)

Crypt is outright POO!!! It effectively turns a portion of your sliver army into nothing but walls. Who wants to waste a card slot on that? Here's a hint: Burn all your crypt slivers.

When the new slivers came out in Legions, I decided to dig through my boxes of old/new stuff and finally make a sliver deck.

So far ... it works pretty well.
